Golden Touch

One thing I love about Europe is that there's a scenic view everywhere you turn! This shoot was held at the Residence of the Philippine Ambassador in Budapest, Hungary :) I absolutely loved her front yard! It was perfect for a spring-y photo shoot. Had I known, I would have worn something else hehe :P Still, the blush and neutral tones turned out to be a good contrast against the greens and yellows :)

People are People Skirt; Sheer top from Romwe; Rings from Bedazzle

I absolutely love this top because of its details. It's sheer and has sequined linings! This top simply screams "Pretty!" :)

I added these statement rings from Cat Limson of Bedazzle accessories for accents :)

If you don't mind, I'd also like to share these next two pictures with you guys

In the picture above are Ave and Glacey. Ave is our production staff for this tour and he took my photos for this shoot. On the right is Glacey, one of my friends from the glee club. She's also a talented makeup artist who has just started her blog! You should check out their sites and photos if you have the time :)

By the way, this post is kind of a fast forward. I've skipped a few entries from Munich and Vienna. I'll get to that in my next posts. I just haven't gotten my pictures from my friend's camera yet! Hope you'll still watch out for that

Not your Everyday Stripes

Scarlett dress from Matilda Clothing; Leather Jacket from Peanut Butter and Jeri; Faux fur Vest (used as collar) from Girl Shoppe

I finally got to wear this black "Scarlett" dress from Matilda Clothing :) Gorgeous isn't it? This time around, I chose to wear it in a more casual ensemble; but this dress can't help but add that touch of sophistication.  I paired this look with my faux fur vest, used as a collar and  my leather jacket to save me from the cold, which by the way, was not enough!

I've always been unable to resist unique pieces! Stripes may be everywhere in everyone's wardrobe, but not like this! I love that the stripes are vertical instead of the usual horizontal pattern. But my favorite part is that it's an alternating black and transparent pattern! Definitely chic :)I've been eyeing this dress from Matilda's website for some time now; and obviously, I wasn't able to resist. So, a big THANK YOU to Matilda Clothing for sending this over :)

Just so you know, they still have one piece left of this dress! So HURRY HURRY and visit Matilda Clothing's website now, before someone gets the last piece! :)

As for my accessories, I wore my leather and suede cuffs from Envy accessories and this prettyyyyy vintage-inspired ring from bedazzle accessories! Thank you again, Cat Limson! You're the best :P

That day in Munich, we were scheduled to take a tour around BMW Welt (BMW World). I don't know much about cars, but I wanted to visit the place anyway. I ended up having a good time! It was cool to see how cars end up from there to their new homes. It's something I'm sure my dad and brothers would have enjoyed too :)

Happy Campers!

I'll leave it here for now guys :) Tomorrow's a new stop! We're leaving Budapest and moving to Graz, Austria! I feel like I have lots more to see here in Hungary, but time just won't permit it this time! Let's hope I'll be back in this beautiful city again!

Dainty Red Lace

I fell in love with Munich!

This city is so colorful. It's so rich with history and sight-seeing, that our short 3-day stay was definitely not enough to savor everything.

My Munich stop was also especially fun because I stayed in the so-called "Happy House." No, it's not really a place. It's just something the glee club coined for houses with a lot of members being hosted.

In our case, we were ten happy campers  in one (very beautiful) home in the suburbs. (Hello Tita Rebi, Tito Robert, Renee and Dani! We miss you)!

Anyway, I wore this outfit for our free day in Munich. We used this day for our walking tour. Seriously, my heels will not survive all these cobblestones haha :P But my platforms are surprisingly more comfortable than flats recently. I don't know if I'm just getting used to it or it's because they give my feet some cushion from the stony ground.

Red lace dress from Trunk Show Manila; H&M Blazer; Gifted scarf; Prima Donna Platforms

As for my accessories, I didn't bother to add much because my dress is already red enough to catch attention haha. I kept it simple with my black sequined beret :)

Whoops! You caught me off guard there :P

Just to share a few photos from our walking tour...
I think one of the most captivating sites in Europe are really the churches and cathedrals. It's like each has their own beautiful story to tell.

I took too many photos from the tour to share, but this church was my favorite. If I'm not mistaken, this was the interior of the private church of Saints Cosmas and Damien.

And of course, the tourist shots...

Hi guys! This is my first look from our Euro Trip 2012. We landed in Frankfurt, Germany around a week and a half ago, and resided in a little town nearby called Oberweyer. This stop will forever be one of my favorites. Although it lacked the shopping, food and attractions of city life, Oberweyer's people and the love they all gave us is one of the most touching experiences I treasure. Also, the quiet town is naturally beautiful with its untouched grass fields and lands. :)

We were given a chance to tour a nearby city, Hadamar. Like Oberweyer, it was a very simple place. But it seems that everywhere I turn, there's a scenic sight to capture.

Here's a view overlooking the city :)

One of the things that is most difficult at this moment is adjusting to the weather. It's supposed to be spring but the temperature drops say otherwise. We've been experiencing cases as low as -2! Yes, I do love the cold weather; but I think too much of it might make me go nuts haha!

So this is my first outfit post! Obviously, I am in my acclimatizing mode, with my cape and fleece lined pants! I can't even go out without stockings underneath whatever I'm wearing! If I don't, I'll shiver and quiver all day long!

I'll leave it here for today :) *waves goodbye* :P

Ateneo College Glee Club's 2012 EUROPEAN TOUR

Hey guys! Sorry I've been out of touch for quite some time. Geez...I missed so much in the blogging world. I don't even know where to begin!

A year ago, I was given the privilege to travel around Europe to do what I love doing (which is singing, of course), with the people I love. And just when I thought I couldn't ask for more, here I am again, miles away from home, sharing our music to people all over the world. Truly music is such an inspiration in my life. I just can't push it away despite every other priority that has added to my list in the past year.

Last 2011, we qualified to join one of the most prestigious competitions in the choral world, the European Grand Prix. Truly it is a great honor for us as Filipinos. Right now, there's a mix of joy, excitement, anxiety, pressure and pride all at the same time.

Well I know this is a fashion blog. So I won't be narrating much about my life as a tourist here in Europe. As usual, I'll be documenting my suitcase's-worth of outfits. But of course, I won't mind sharing some pictures of the places I'll be visiting.

With that, I'll end this post. Sorry if I won't get to update you guys regularly, but I do hope I get to blog very soon!

Ciao for now readers! Watch out for my posts :)
