Curve

Like most girls, I also had a phase when I was conscious of my body. In fact sometimes I still revert to that phase when I don't feel confident about how I look. I won't deny that there were times that I wished I retained the more stick-like and boyish figure I had when I was a pre-teen; but then again, I also learned to love my body the way it is now.

In this outfit, I can say that there are a lot of trends I don't usually go for like low-rider jeans, halter tops and body-hugging clothes. I didn't mean for them to come all together like this, but I think it worked out fine. It does show off a little more curves though; but I guess there's nothing wrong with that, as long as it's not over the top.

My Current Obsession: Chalky Pastels and Elie Saab

As the new year is about to begin, I'm sure we're all watching out for fashion trend alerts for the year 2012. Well it all depends on who you listen to, but you're never really sure about a trend alert until it's actually trending already. Some websites have been forecasting what I see as brightened earth tones like cyan, bright yellow and vivid browns; along with chalky pastels like mauve, periwinkle, darkened mint green and turquoise and light golden-brown shades. The latter, I'm more excited about!

It would probably be reminiscent of Elie Saab's 2010 and 2011 spring collection. If I needed a gown, I would think Elie Saab would have the perfect answer (a girl can dream). He captures all of my personal favorites with his ethereal, feminine and romantic designs. I've always wanted to wear something that made me feel like I was gliding instead of walking haha! Anyway here are some of my faves :)

Green Pants

With the current trend leaning on more embellished and elaborate pieces, the white shirt still remains to be a staple in everyone's wardrobe. I fell in love with the sexy white shirt and it's perfect fit on me. Thank you Sexy White Shirt Manila for sending my new v-neck tees!
I love the fit even from the back :)
White is usually easy to pair with other clothes. I surprisingly had a hard time choosing my outfit. I finally decided to go with something more basic but adding a bit of color with my green pants :)

That day was also the glee club's annual Christmas Concert.

Hmm someone is taking paparazzi shots haha
Yey! Christmas chocolates!

Even after four years, caroling with the glee club is still the best way to kickstart my Christmas! How are you guys getting into the Christmas spirit?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! :P

Bloggers United 2

Ah! It was a very short visit for me :( I would have wanted to stay longer but it was a very very busy day last Saturday! Still, I was a happy camper! I was on total fan girl mode :)) Well if you've read some of my past blog entries, you'd probably know that one of my frustrations is not being able to be that active in the fashion blogging world. I wish I had time to attend events and get to know other bloggers, but juggling med school and glee club doesn't leave much time for anything else.

I can't deny that I was feeling a bit awkward. I'm a naturally shy person. As in REALLY shy! I can be so awkward during first meetings sometimes. I think some of the bloggers I met could attest to that :P

Hello again Ana! I loved your outfit! Especially your collar necklace! So cute :) Sorry for bothering you when you were super busy haha! Paalis na kasi ako eh :P
Ahh! One of my first favorite style icons! Nice to see you again Aisa! <3 Hurray for yellow bottoms! :) I still love your pants!

With Bestie! She's super cute!!! Small world no? :)) Kilala mo pala si Irvs!
Yey! I finally got to meet you Melai :) At least may picture tayo haha :P
OMG super trying hard not to melt haha! I finally got to meet these two awesome fashion bloggers! Wah super starstruck! Kookie and Karl were also super nice :)
Geez! I could have at least tried to notlook like a fan girl :)) Hello David! Yey got to meet you already! Love your sweater!
And of course the lovely Lissa Kahayon! Even prettier in person! Super nice too! Again, it's a small world isn't it? Denise texted me that we met! haha!
It was fantastic seeing my favorite bloggers in real life. I loved seeing them and their personal style through their photos, but meeting them in person was even better :)

Congrats to the organizers and participants of BU2! :) As you can see it was jam-packed! And of course super thank you to Irvs and Abby for coming with me! I was so happy to see you there Abby! I miss you! I remember our first bazaar together haha! The sulit shoes :P

I'll end this entry with my outfit posts for the day :)

The Better to See you with

Hello guys! This post won't take long :) Just wanna share with all of you that I finally received my frames from Proopticals! I've been eyeing (pun not intended?) cat eye glasses for a while. I've seen a few on ebay, but I didn't bother to spend for them since I haven't been wearing glasses that much anymore. I was only surprised to receive an email from Proopticals! Thank you so much for this gift!

Catwoman

Hey bloggers!

Yey! Finally it's the end of the week! Every weekend is such a blessing! Every chance to rest and have fun is something to be real thankful for (especially in this zombie-state I live in now haha). Well, speaking of blessings, I've been receiving my fair share of 'em recently.  I've been told some exciting news and I cannot wait for them to happen! Haha! For more, I'm happy that my October goodies from Romwe finally arrived! I must say, it has been quite a long wait. Apparently, there was some problem with the post office, which was why I didn't get any notice about my packages for so long.

Here's what I got! I chose leopard-print sheer cover-up. For one thing, the color was really pretty. I also love the fact that it can add spice to a plain outfit, like my all-black ensemble for example :)

Leopard-print blazer from Romwe; Terranova tube top (it's not a corset :P); YRYS skinny jeans; Figlia shoes

Well that's the outfit post for today! On another note, I'm hoping I can pass by bloggers united later! I really wanna meet other bloggers and see what they prepared for the event! But up to now, I'm still not sure if I can.

So I'll leave it here guys! You can check out my look on Lookbook.nu!
