Sunny Came Home

I LOVE ORANGE :D It's been my favorite color for as long as I can remember. For some time during first grade, I thought my favorite color shifted to purple...but after some soul-searching...No. It's really orange. Anyway...

 I bought this orange skirt around four years ago. Coming from a conservative high school, I was still at a stage when I was not so confident in mini skirts. If it wasn't so delightfully orange and pretty, I probably wouldn't have bought it. Now that I've realized how fun skirts are, I definitely don't regret buying it :)

 

On another note, here's what I've been busy with during the last stretch of finals week. In fairness, I didn't get any sleep because of this project. :-|

 

 Here's my adaptation of Gustav Klimt's painting of the three stages of a woman. Only the peg our professor gave us was only of the mother and child. We were allowed to use different mediums for this. For my case, I used watercolor, oil pastel and a bit of collage :) I'm quite happy and proud with how it turned out. I've never been in an art class in my life, but I do love doodling and drawing hahaha. I don't know if that helped me. 

That's all I have to share for today. Tomorrow has a long day ahead. Hope I get to take some nice pictures so I can blog away about it when I get back home :)
